A new Concept of CommissioningLunatic Updates
Yeah it’s been a while. Japan is keeping me busy and so far all my written updates have been on my Japan Blog instead of here.. c’:
But today I’m here with something that will probably be way more interesting to you than any of my personal adventures.
Has anyone of you heard of this little comic?
Created by Aishishi, this concept has been all around tumblr recently.
I thought that this was an amazing idea, so I joined a group that is trying to bring just this concept to life.
I introduce to you: The Commissioners’ Corner
Now all we need is more people who are interested in this concept so that the com

Heyo everyone~ ♥
Once again it's been months since my last journal update and I haven't submitted much art either, I'm sorry for that.
As those of you who casually read through the stuff I'm posting might already know, I've been really busy with exams and preparations for going abroad during the past two months. By now I have only two weeks left until my departure, luckily passed all of my exams rather well, still got a research to do and some last preparations to make.
To give a rough schedule of what's still left to do until March 26th:
- finish research
- pick up visa from the consulate
- pick up new glasses
- pick up laptop from repair
- finish the two traditional commissions for InkyWTF *
- draw a birthday gift for my BF's little sister
- pack bags
- clean rooms
- attend several birthdays
Of course I have no idea what things will look like once I'm in Japan. I don't know how long it takes until everything's settled, wh

Hello everyone~ ♥
It's Walpurgis Night today, people! Time to hunt witches! :iconkyubeyplz:
Other than that, today's my 8th anniversary here on deviantART! ♥
Time has gone by really fast and lots of things - both, good and bad - have happened. I've grown a lot ever since I joined deviantART 8 years ago, both physically as well as mentally and I guess I'd be lying if said deviantART didn't do its own big part on that. I've also found some really great friends here I couldn't imagine living without anymore. I love you! ♥
To make long things short, I'm more than happy to celebrate my 8th year on dA today and to thank all of you for your support throughout those wonderful 8 years, I decided to make a little giveaway:
The first 5 people to comment on here will directly get a coloured shoulder-up doodle of a character of their choice!
Anyone else will be given numbers
Happy April Fool's Day!!Lunatic Lifestyle
Hello there~ ♥
A few days ago, I have quit the relationship with my boyfriend because I have finally realized that my sexual attraction has slowly moved towards the female sex throughout the time.
I'm badly looking for a nice girlfriend but sadly, the new deviantHEART page doesn't quite fulfill its promises.
So if you'd like to get to know me better, don't hesitate to talk to me. :3 But please understand that I need time to get to know you better... : )
I guess (and hope) nobody actually took this seriously. Either way, I really loved all of your awesome comments on this. <3 They gave me a good laugh whenever I read one of those and it was even more fun to answer them as seriously as possible! xDD
Not to disappoint anyone, but I actually wrote all of this while my boyfriend was sitting right next to me.. xD
I still love you all, really! ;v; Dun be jelly~ <3 *hugs and kisses*
Have a nice Easter and Happy April Fool's Day, fo

Hello my fellow deviants! ♥
I'm back home from Egypt, slightly tanned and full of energy! ovo
I must admit, I would've never expected that I'd read that much and draw that little... I finished two big Dance in the Vampire Bund mangas and 5 Negima! mangas... while I drew... nothing. Well, actually we spent most of the time either at the pool or at the beach, which is - at least for me - not the best place to draw. And most of the times when we returned to our room in the evening I was too tired to do anything at all... even already at 9 pm.
Either way, I've seen a lot of stuff and probably took close to 1000 photos, even though we didn't make any bigger trips than to the nearby city Hurghada and a snorkel trip.
Other than that I received 5 of my 9 grades of this semester so far. I did perfectly great in 3 of 4 Japanese exams and the Market-Oriented Management exam.... but failed Maths dramatically... :'D
Still waiting for the other 4... Oh god please make
Art Trades anyone? [-decision-]I know it's a little bit delayed, but university and family sorta kept me off my PC the past few two days, but here comes the result on who I decided to trade with. Considering the fact that there were several chibi suggestions I decided to pick out three instead of only two.
:iconhydreon::iconshadowsinty::iconraika-chan:I will do my best to send each of you a note as soon as possible. Concerning anyone else, please don't be upset I didn't choose you. After all, this might not be the last time for me to do something like this. c:
How to proceed at this point?
Wait for my note to arrive. It will contain any information about what I want you to draw.Tell me if it's okay for you and feel free to add any further information about your request, if necessary.Let the trade begin!
Any questions? Feel free to ask! : )
Remember: Once I've finished my remaining commissions, I will start working on the trades. However, I won't submit my part of the trade before you finished
What A Week...Why hello there! : D
Wow... I seriously can't believe I finally made it to deviantART again to do more than... high speed message checking/deleting.
Actually, I just had a week off University but somehow I don't feel relaxed or even recovered at all. Quite the contrary, I feel like I've never had that much stress before. It all started with the DoKomi on Saturday, as I already mentioned in my previous journal. Oh yes I had a whole lot of fun there and bought some awesome stuff! On Sunday it was time for me to work, as usual. Monday to spend at my boyfriends and Tuesday to meet with some friends in Bochum where we took the train over to Düsseldorf and spent our day in the Japanese part of the city, checking out some stores, taking purikura photos, eating okonomiyaki and ending our day relaxing at the Rhine and watching the sunset. On Wednesday afternoon I went back to meet with my boyfriend in Dortmund for a short shopping tour, where I also bought my new headphones which I

Hey there~ ovo

Completely done with school now btw. Everything went well, I got a great result and I'm happy now~ x3
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish youd never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot.
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession.
Well... to be honest, actually I am... lol wait! You didn't seriously expect I'd write something totally personal in here, did you? xD
But well.. something I guess I could say is that I noticed, I have changed a lot, moving more into society and their "behaviour" by finding more and more friends in RL and
Creating your own MangaIntroduction
You have a great story, a bunch of characters and you want to create a manga. However, where do you start? Do you have it Left->Right or Right->Left? How should you publish it (*note: some publishers may have additional requirements/restrictions)?
The process is pretty much the same for any graphic progression such as comics.
Luckily, there are a great number of tutorials to help you on your way.
A storyboard is a panel or series of panels which detail the sequence of significant events in a planned scene, i.e. a rough sketch coupled with some words to describe the actions in the scene.
At this point you'd need to have an idea of whether you are making a left->right or right->left manga.
Photoshop tutorial- PS basics 4I'm back with my journal tutorials for Photoshop. I didn't post any new journal tutorial in a while. Anyway, my previous tutorial you can check here. I'll describe some Photoshop basics for everyone who try to learn to use Photoshop. So in this article you'll find tutorials: Tilt-Shift, Customizing brush 2, Lens Flare, Mask Tool,.
If you wish to see images in full resolution then simply click on the images below (they are big 1920 x 1080 px). I used Photoshop CC here, so some things may be different in lower PS versions. But most of things may be the same in all PS versions. I'll make even more tutorials like this, so stay tuned. And if you like it, then you can fav this article. Thank you and enjoy. I hope it's helpful. More tutorials by me you can see in feature below.
PE: How to Scan and Adjust ImagesTutorial Time: How to scan and adjust images on Photoshop!
Hello everyone, welcome to this tutorial article of PE week!
well, you know, there is this youtube channel where there's lots of videos regaring tips, tricks and general advice for artists, and it is the best I've seen of the kind. But sadly, it is only in portuguese - hence why cinyu came up with the great idea of getting me to translate one of their videos!
I decided to pick up this one regarding scanning and adjusting images on photoshop, because that is one of the most basic, yet worst parts for many traditional artists. This tutorial is mostly for scanning black and white works, so it'll be more useful if you're working on manga/comic pages or inked art, but I hope it'll give you some ideas and help out in general on how scanning works.
I'll be translating the most important parts of the video, along with screenshots. Let's get started!
Things you'll need:
When It's HardHi folks! I realized in my most recent round of blogs that I've been a little quick to tell you all to put on your grown up panties, but this one is going to be a little different. Making art can be one of the most exhilarating things you'll ever do, but (and this is from personal experience also) 80% of the time you're going to fail. You'll spill your ink all over that glorious drawing. Oil from your hands will permanently stain only the portion of paper that was meant to remain a snowy white. Your computer's hard drive will crash or all your image files (all the WIPs especially) will get corrupted. You'll try something new and it just won't work out the way you envisioned. These things are the parts that aren't really spoken about enough, and so when they happen to us we assume that we're doing something terribly wrong. I'm here to tell you that we all go through these things and there's always a solution!
When you're not improving

How to render MMD videos like a pro!
The DeviantArt MMD community is notorious for its drama and mini-conflicts. It has also been the one in which I've encountered some of the rudest people on the Internet. However, I have also been rather fortunate in being able to become acquainted with some of the nicest, talented and knowledgeable people I've ever encountered anywhere. Many of these have graced my gallery with their visits, comments, encouragement and attentions. And a few, perhaps some of the most talented, have graciously given me access to hard to get models, exclusive previews of their MMD work and even insights into their methods of doing things.
Occasionally, I am gifted with real gems and this was the case when garmus1 dropped a note in my inbox the other night. Apart from the depth of knowledge that he gives into his methods, he's also given me permission to share that knowledge with the rest of the community.
Now, I know that some of you will have, after reading only
My deviantART StoryIt's been over 9 years already since I joined deviantART, back then as MariahAcorn, focussing solely on Sonic art.
Since I joined, I've definitely grown from a child that casually draws to a serious hobby artist actively striving to improve.
Just look at how I've started.... c':
But over time I improved a lot and tried out various styles and different media, mostly thanks to the people on deviantART, be it friends or just artists that boosted my motivation with helpful tutorials or simply with their stunning art.
And one day, after years of trying to draw an anime picture in between every now and then but being mostly dissatisfied, I finally decided to actively attack this weakness and created this account that finally lead me to where I stand now.
I have made many friends on my way but I have probably al
