Yes. This is the first Sonic picture I'll officially submit on this account.
Back from Egypt, I've finally been able to finish this today.
It wasn't the easiest of tasks to draw somebody else as a Sonic character. =Kikyo4ever1 gave me photos of herself and her boyfriend as well as references for the clothes she wanted me to draw. The dress was quite a tough one, to be honest. I've been given the opportunity to choose the species and decided to go for Caracal and Fennec as I haven't seen either of them too often until now, especially not caracals.
The lineart was already done months ago but during the semester I couldn't find the time to colour it, especially since traditional colouring is always a slightly bigger challenge for me than digital works (I seriously miss the layers and Ctrl+Z). Thus I started working on it two weeks ago before I left to Egypt.

What really killed me was the plaid pattern of the shirt. I looked for some other copic pictures featuring plaid patterns and tried my best to get done something as close to the reference as possible. Other than that I had problems with shading the dress, sadly I sometimes picked the wrong colour and parts turned out darker than they actually should, or I accidently hit the wrong spaces to shade... ''orz Traditional colouring doesn't really seem to be my thing...
However, I'm really satisfied with the shading of both characters' hair as well as the tail. Shading the shirt was really difficult though. In the end I had to fix it with Polychromos to create a proper looking shading.
I know I normally don't offer sceneric backgrounds on my commissions, but on this picture I just wanted to draw one since I felt it was necessary to give such a picture the right feeling. I still need a lot of practise with traditional backgrounds though...

On a sidenote: During the colouring process I suddenly noticed that I wasn't able to tell what eye colour =RazorToshiba has from the photo, so I went with some green since I originally hoped to finish it before leaving for Egypt and thus didn't want to ask and wait for an answer. Don't hesitate to tell me the actual eye colour and I'll change it if necessary. c:
Other than that I hope I did you both justice with the characters. ;v;
